A historic Helensburgh church is undergoing a major restoration after being battered by wind and rain.
B-listed Helensburgh Parish Church is being given a £288,000 makeover.
The revamp is being funded by a £190,000 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Historic Environment Scotland, with the Colquhoun Square church itself contributing a further £100,000 from funds.
The restoration is set to be done by September 30.
Rev David Young, minister of Helensburgh Parish Church, said: “The restoration work currently taking place, together with the new church halls, will ensure that members will have an appropriate place for worship for many years to come.
“There will also be improved heritage information, including audiovisual material and via the church’s website, new open days and tours, with the involvement of schoolchildren and volunteer guides.”
